Research In Motion (RIM) has confirmed the launch date of its flagship tablet PCs, BlackBerry Playbook. iPad 2 Challenger is ready for action in early July.
In its official statement, RIM ensure that the Blackberry Playbook will be present in 16 countries, one of them mentioned Indonesia. Time of launch is 30 days since the announcement was made, June 10, 2011.
This means that if no gets in the way, Blackberry Playbook with 7 inch touch screen as wide as it is scheduled to be strolling on July 10, 2011.
In terms of ability, Blackberry Playbook is quite capable. Carrying the capacitive touch screen, LCD 7 inch WSVGA Playbook has a resolution of 1024 x 600. This device is fully supported multi-touch and gesture.
Blackberry Playbook reinforced by the processor 1 GHz Dual Core with 1 GB of RAM. While the feature has a complete HD camera 3 Megapixel (front) and 5 Megapixel (back) that can record video up to 1080p HD resolution.
Not yet known what price Blackberry Playbook later in Indonesia. To be sure, the device with dimensions of 130mm x 193mm x 10mm and weighs about 400 grams is not predicted to be more expensive than medium-iPad 2 versions.
